Cadillac is launching a new V Performance Package for the 2021 CT5 Sport, which includes some of the features of the flagship CT5-V.
More specifically, the V Performance Package consists of Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, FE3 performance suspension and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and FE3 performance suspension are both lifted from the CT5-V, while the mechanical limited-slip differential is unique, as the CT5-V has an electronically controlled limited-slip diff.

GM Authority reports that the V Performance Package has been designed to fill the gap between the 2021 Cadillac CT5 Sport and the more aggressive CT5-V. Those who want the V Performance Package will also have to order the Brembo V Performance brakes. The new package is also available only on the rear-wheel drive CT5 Sport, not the all-wheel drive version.
Cadillac has not made any engine modifications with the V Performance Package. As a result, customers will be offered the same engine options as the rest of the CT5 Sport range. Sitting at the base of the lineup is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that is good for 237 hp and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque, while those after some extra performance can opt for the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that’s rated at 335 hp and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque. That’s not too far behind the CT5-V, which has a tuned version of the same V6 making 360 hp and 405 lb-ft (549 Nm).
