Chevrolet has quietly introduced the 2021 Camaro.
There’s a good reason for the low-key introduction as changes are largely limited to new design packages as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
Starting with the value-focused trims, the Camaro LT can be equipped with a new Wild Cherry Design Package. It features a Wild Cherry Tintcoat exterior with Black Metallic Hash Mark stripes and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with center caps featuring the Camaro logo. The package also includes special floor mats with Camaro branding.

2LT and 3LT variants can be equipped with a Wild Cherry Design Package 2. It includes all the content from the base package as well as a center stripe, a ground effects kit and a black fuel door with a carbon fiber accent. The interior also receives sueded knee pads.
Moving up the trim ladder, V8-powered variants have greater availability of the RS Package and Redline Edition. The SS 1LE Performance Package – which includes Brembo brakes, a sport-tuned suspension and Magnetic Ride Control – is also now available on models equipped with a ten-speed automatic transmission.
The Camaro ZL1 largely carries over as it only receives wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as a Wild Cherry Tintcoat exterior like the rest of the Camaro lineup.
Under the hood, there are four familiar engines including a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder pumping out 275 hp (205 kW / 279 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. Buyers can also upgrade to a 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) 3.6-liter V6 or a 6.2-liter V8 with 455 hp (339 kW / 461 PS). The top dog remains the ZL1’s supercharged 6.2-liter V8 which develops 650 hp (485 kW / 659 PS) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque.
Pricing starts at $25,995 for the entry-level 1LS Coupe and tops out at $71,590 for the range-topping ZL1 Convertible with an automatic transmission.
