The first images of the facelifted 2021 Vauxhall Crossland have been released before sales of the compact crossover start in the UK later this month.
The new Crossland, which has ditched the “X” from its name and will also be sold as an Opel throughout Europe, features the automaker’s latest ‘Vizor’ front fascia which sports a faux high-gloss black radiator grille that connects seamlessly to the new LED headlights. In addition, the new Crossland has a vented front bumper not too dissimilar to that on the new Vauxhall / Opel Mokka.
Found at the rear of the updated model is a gloss black tailgate, smoked LED taillights, and a new bumper. The Crossland also receives distinctive 17-inch alloy wheels.

Very few changes have been made to the cabin, with the dashboard and infotainment system remaining unchanged from the current model. Updates include a 180-degree parking camera, forward collision alert, and a pedestrian recognition system.
In the UK, buyers of the revamped Vauxhall Crossland will be able to choose between three petrol and two diesel variants. Sitting at the base of the petrol range is a naturally aspirated, 1.2-liter three-cylinder with 82 hp, while those looking for more grunt can opt for either the 108 hp or 128 hp turbocharged 1.2-liter. As for the diesels, they are 108 and 118 hp versions of PSA’s turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder.
In addition to the updated exterior looks and additional safety features, the car manufacturer has fitted the new model with different springs, dampers, and a tweaked steering aimed at improving handling.
