Speaking with Autoblog, Ford’s U.S. consumer marketing manager Mark Grueber has revealed that the flagship Wildtrak is proving to be the most popular, accounting for 26 per cent of those with reservations. The second most popular is the Badlands, accounting for 20 per cent of reservations, with the remaining 54 per cent of orders split between the base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks and First Edition models.

Elsewhere, the Blue Oval revealed that a touch under half of all reserved Bronco models have been optioned with the Sasquatch Package, which includes 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, Dana front and rear electronically locking axles with a 4.7:1 final drive ratio, and high-clearance suspension with Bilstein shocks.

The four-door Bronco is proving to be the most popular body style and has been selected by two-thirds of reservation holders, with the rest opting for the two-door. Grueber added that the 2.7-liter V6 is proving popular, without revealing numbers, and that just 10 per cent of those opting for the entry-level four-cylinder are going for the manual transmission.
