Update 10/13/2020: A Lexus spokesperson has confirmed the news to CarScoops: “[The] CT, IS and RC are leaving the Lexus line-up in Western Europe. This is just part of a normal product cycle change. The RC F is not leaving and will continue to be available, including in the UK. The new IS will not come to Western Europe (including the UK)“.

Original story follows below

Lexus is making a few adjustments to its lineup for the new model year in the United Kingdom, and the biggest news is the demise of the CT, IS and RC.

Mind you, all three models are still listed on the official website, but if this latest report is correct, then we’re only talking about limited availability.

According to Autocar, which claims to have confirmed the report with a spokesperson, the automaker has already stopped importing the hatchback, saloon and coupe, and with no direct replacements planned, they will leave a gap in the brand’s lineup.

For now though, the CT hybrid compact hatchback appears with a manufacturer recommended retail price of £26,275 ($33,887), or £28,475 ($36,725) should one decide to choose the F Sport trim level. Based on the same platform as the old Toyota Prius, the CT was already dropped from North America three years ago.

The IS sports sedan is available from £33,265 ($42,902), whereas the F Sport will set you back at least £36,965 ($47,674). Updated for 2021, with fresh styling inside and out, new technology and safety gear, the latest iteration BMW 3-Series fighter won’t end up in the UK.

Lexus doesn’t seem to have a replacement planned for the RC, nor for its performance version, the RC F. The regular model is listed from £40,905 ($52,756) in the UK, with the F Sport starting at £44,170 ($56,967), while the RC F comes from £63,240 ($81,562). The Carbon and Track Edition versions of the sports coupe start at £70,240 ($90,590) and £80,240 ($103,487) respectively.
