While the 2021 Ford Bronco won’t reach the hands of customers until next year, Hennessey Performance has already committed to offering it with a powerful V8 engine.
As standard, the new Bronco is only available with a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four or a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6, but this being Hennessey, they want more power. As a result, they will sell the Bronco with a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine pumping out no less than 750 hp.

This engine will be coupled exclusively to Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission, with the Texas tuner claiming that its modified off-roader will be able to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in as little as 4.5 seconds.
Hennessey will make various other modifications to the Bronco. For example, it will fit an air-to-water intercooler, high-flow air induction, upgraded fuel injection and fuel systems, a stainless steel cat-back exhaust, and a tuned ECU. It will also look to improve the SUV’s off-road prowess with upgraded suspension and new off-road tires.
Further modifications will be made to the exterior and interior of the 2021 Bronco, or as Hennessey calls it, the Velociraptor V8 Bronco. This will include a custom hood with a scoop, upgraded aluminum wheels, a bespoke front grille, unique livery, Hennessey badges, and custom front and rear bumpers. Interior alterations will include embroidered headrests and serial numbered plaques.
Hennessey will build just 24 examples of the Velociraptor V8 Bronco for the 2021 model year. It will be offered in 2-door and 4-door configurations. The complete cost of a new Bronco plus the modifications will be a cool $225,000, almost $200,000 more than the entry-level Bronco that starts at $28,500.
