If you’ve seen Nico Rosberg take the Ferrari Monza SP1 out on the track at Fiorano, then you probably know this isn’t the type of car in need of any more power.

Of course, don’t let Novitec hear you say that, because boosting performance in pretty much everything they get their hands on is exactly what they do. In this particular case, the result should be an even more intense driving experience.

When stock, the Ferrari Monza SP1/SP2’s 6.5-liter V12 engine produces 799 HP (810 PS) and 530 lb-ft (719 lb-ft) of torque, which will get you from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds. Top speed is north of 186 mph (300 km/h).

With Novitec’s help, the Italian speedster now boasts 832 HP (844 PS) and 575 lb-ft (780 Nm) of torque. While its top speed remains undetermined, the 0-62 sprint is achieved slightly faster by 0.1 seconds, which some might argue is inconsequential. However, putting your foot down will result in faster throttle response and better acceleration across the entire rev range, claims the German tuner.

The extra power comes courtesy of a tailor-made high-performance exhaust system, available with optional 999 fine gold plating that dissipates heat more efficiently. Other mods include sport springs (lowered ride height by 35 mm / 1.37 inches) and staggered forged wheels (21 and 22- inches) from Vossen.

Novitec will also “tailor every detail of the cockpit to the owner’s personal taste,” meaning you can have your leather and Alcantara in any desired color.

It goes without saying that these mods are available for both the SP1 as well as the SP2.
