A couple of months after images of the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Project One Edition first emerged online, the car has been filmed up close at the AMG headquarters in Affalterbach, Germany.

The GT Black Series Project One Edition is available exclusively to those who have placed orders for the upcoming AMG One hybrid hypercar and was apparently launched to appease customers who’ve had to deal with various delays that pushed back the launch of the AMG One. This detailed video comes from one of the lucky few to have ordered an AMG One and given the opportunity to buy the Project One Edition.

The video reveals that customers will be be able to choose between three exterior finishes. Those looking to slide under the radar can specify a standard shade of silver or an Obsidian Black finish, while those who want to stand out will be able to order one with the same silver and black two-tone Mercedes F1 paint as the example featured. Making the car stand out further from other AMG GT Black Series models is Petronas-colored edging around the black wheels and along the side skirts.

Unique touches continue in the cabin and include Petronas-colored piping and stitching on the black leather racing seats, as well as the center console and dashboard.

No mechanical modifications have been made to the Project One Edition. As such, it continues to be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter, flat-plane crank V8 developing 720 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Pricing details for this limited-run variant have yet to be made public.
