A pair of Genesis GV70 prototypes have been filmed testing in the United States and, while this video from YouTube channel KindelTechAuto doesn’t show any exterior details we didn’t already know about, it does give us our first look at the interior.
The GV70 filmed on the rear of the trailer appears to be the flagship model. Like other recent prototypes, it is sporting a set of large circular tailpipes and is also fitted with 19-inch wheels with an aggressive spoke design.

As this is thought to be the flagship model, it will have a twin-turbocharged V6 like other Genesis models, though it remains to be seen if this will be the 365 hp 3.3-liter unit of the G70 or the newer 3.5-liter unit of the new G80 and the larger GV80 SUV that pumps out 375 hp.
The second GV70 prototype filmed has a set of smaller 18-inch wheels and a different tailpipe design. It is thought to be the entry-level model that will have a turbocharged four-cylinder. In similar fashion to the V6, it’s unknown if it will be the company’s familiar 249 hp 2.0-liter or the newer 2.5-liter that’s good for 300 hp.
As for the cabin, one of the prototypes is clad in red quilted leather with seats very similar in design to other Genesis models. We can also see a carbon fiber-esque pattern on the center console and the door panel. The engineers testing the cars had covered up the dashboard, but we believe it will feature Genesis’ latest widescreen infotainment system.
