As more and more C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays reach the hands of customers, an increasing number of them are being crashed and ending up at salvage yards for auction.
While searching through Copart, we came across no less than five damaged or completely destroyed Corvettes that are heading up to auction soon. While a couple of them seem repairable, others have absolutely no chance of being fixed up and returned to the road. We’ve also found an additional wrecked Corvette being auctioned off by IAAI in North Hollywood.
The white Corvette featured first in the gallery below is equipped with the Z51 Performante package, the 3LT trim package, and the available high wing spoiler. It has just 871 miles on the clock and had attracted a highest bid of $65,500 at the time of writing. While it has a salvage title, the damage is confined to the rear end and should be repairable.

A black example (above) with 3,300 miles under its belt should also be repairable, with damage seemingly confined to one of the doors and front and rear quarter panels. Someone clearly thinks they can make money off the car with the highest bid currently sitting at $62,000.
One of the ‘Vettes that definitely won’t be returning to the roads is a blue 2LT model. One side has been completely caved in, indicating that the ‘Vette perhaps hit a tree or a pole at high speed. The front and rear fascias are also completely missing and the force of the impacts has destroyed the interior. The Copart listing even states that it has “biohazard/chemical” damage.
Other damaged Corvettes we’ve found include this white one with 2,118 miles, a blue one with 1,717 miles, and a grey one with 3,371 miles.
