A hilarious video out of the UK has resurfaced on social media showing the conversation between the driver of a blue Peugeot that had just crashed and a passerby.
This clip was first posted to YouTube in early 2019 and starts by showing the blue French hatchback sitting in a ditch on the side of the road. Evidently, the male driver somehow lost control of the car and speared off the road.
Eager to find out more, another motorist pulls up alongside the man and asks him if he’s alright before saying “You can’t park there, sir.” The man behind the wheel of the Peugeot remains remarkably calm as the other motorist continues to take subtle jabs at him and accuses him of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

The Peugeot driver later pleads with the other motorist to provide him with the name of the road as he is on the phone to the police. The filmer responds by saying, “Yeah, it’s a concrete road with a thin narrow back-lane.” Not impressed, the Peugeot driver asks for the name of the road once again, to which the other man retorts “Yes, Push It Right In The Ditch Road, it’s called.”
The back and forth continues for 30 more seconds where the man filming once again asks the Peugeot driver if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
It’s a piece of classic British banter, and if the filmer had responded like that in some other countries (we won’t name names…), chances are things would have escalated pretty quickly.
