Celebrating the 2021 G80’s official arrival in Australia, Genesis has launched a comprehensive image gallery.
The brand’s Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6 and BMW 5-Series challenger is available with two engines Down Under, a 2.5-liter turbo rated at 300 HP and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque, and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 pumping out 374 HP and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm).
The lesser model is offered with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, leather upholstery, wood trim and a 14.5-inch infotainment system. As for safety systems, it comes with Forward Collision Avoidance, Driver Attention Warning, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance, Surround View Monitor and Smart Cruise Control.

The V6-powered variant packs an eight-speed auto and all-wheel drive. It rides on five-spoke 20-inch wheels wrapped in the same rubber from Michelin, and features the Genesis Adaptive Cruise Control suspension with advanced Road Preview tech.
Pricing starts at AU$84,900 (US$62,658) for the 2.5T and AU$99,900 (US$73,729) for the 3.5T. Both versions of the executive sedan can be enhanced with the optional Luxury Package that’s available at an extra AU$13,000 (US$9,594) and adds Nappa leather, suede headliner and pillars, 18-way power-adjustable seat for the driver with massage function, soft-close doors, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, three zone climate control and uprated headlights.
The 2021 G80 is offered with 11 paint finishes, 5 interior colors and 2 open-pore real wood trims, thus offering more personalization options.
