Gordon Murray Group is going to set up an all-new global headquarters and technology campus in Windlesham, Surrey, UK.
The new facilities will span over 130,000 square feet and three buildings, housing automotive design, engineering, research and development, sales, marketing, and a heritage center, while the company’s existing site in Dunsfold Park will serve as the manufacturing center for the upcoming T.50 hypercar.

Gordon Murray Group’s new site is expected to be completed by 2024, following an investment of £50 million ($66 million in current exchange rates). The company estimates that their new headquarters will create more than 100 new highly-skilled jobs.
“This new technology campus and global headquarters is a major investment and a huge step forward for the Gordon Murray Group, as we gather momentum for the next phase of our business and our brands, spearheaded by the all-new T.50 supercar,” said Gordon Murray.
“We’re also proud to be already making significant contribution to UK exports, and helping secure the vital UK automotive supply chain. Over 90 per cent of the content of the new T.50 comes from UK supplies, which is something that we specified from the start. It is designed, engineered and manufactured from world-class British components in Britain.”
The company’s first product will be the T.50 hypercar, featuring a naturally aspirated V12 engine with 654 HP and a redline of over 12,000 rpm. Deemed as the spiritual successor of the McLaren F1, the T.50 also features a center driving position in a three-seater cabin and a very low target weight figure of 2,174 lbs (986 kg).
Gordon Murray Automotive will start building the first customer examples of the T.50 in January 2022.
