In 2021, the Racing Point F1 team will morph into the Aston Martin team and with this move, ditch the current team’s bright pink livery. Could the new race car look something like this?
These renderings were sent to us by CarScoops reader Oclay Tuncay Karabulut and showcase what the racer could look like with a radically different paint scheme. The base of the car depicted is black but it then features bright green accents across the front wing, sides, rear wing, and the wheels. Contrasting the bright green are a handful of pink accents for title sponsor BWT.

While Racing Point’s current pink livery is easy to identify out on the circuit, it does feel a little bit crass and cheap compared to the color schemes of other F1 teams. While it is unlikely the Aston Martin F1 livery will look like what’s pictured here, we do know it will be all-new.
Speaking with Autosport back in September, team owner Lawrence Stroll revealed that the car will incorporate British Racing Green throughout its design. It is understood that the team has already reviewed initial design concepts and confirmed that some areas of the vehicle will be finished in pink.
In addition to the Racing Point team changing names for 2021, it has also let go Sergio Perez and secured four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel on a multi-year deal. The German was told before the start of this year’s season that his services wouldn’t be required for 2021 as Ferrari are placing their future in the hands of Charles Leclerc and new recruit Carlos Sainz.
