At a first glance, one might easily think that this tuned Mercedes-AMG G63 comes from Mansory, but it doesn’t, as it was created by Lumma Design.
A reinterpretation of the CLR G770 kit launched last year, it adds the ‘R’ suffix and a few revisions to the initial offering that is still on sale. They may not be that visible due to the busy design, but they are there.
Among the changes, the tuner highlighted the tweaked front and rear bumpers, new rear door attachments, additional DRLs and plastic fender flares that can now be screwed directly to the vehicle, making the installation, which is also covered by Lumma alongside the re-paint, easier.

The black 4×4 sports red trim on the grille surround, side body panels and on the wheels, which can be up to 24 inches in size, wrapped in 295/30 front and 355/25 rear tires. The Performance+ and Sport+ packages add extra features to the G63.
The flap-controlled exhaust system, with black or chrome-plated stainless steel tailpipes, complements the power upgrade that results in the twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 pumping out 641 HP (650 PS / 478 kW) and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) of torque.
In stock form, the G63 comes with 577 HP (585 PS / 430 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, driving all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission. With the optional AMG Driver’s Package, it can max out at 149 mph (240 km/h), whereas for the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h), you are looking at 4.5 seconds.
The range-topping G-Wagen has an MSRP of $156,450 in the U.S.
