Fans of British luxury grand tourers will want to pay some attention to this 2007 Aston Martin DB9 Volante that’s getting auctioned off with 20,000 miles (32,200 km) on its odo.
It’s not exactly mint, but it looks well-kept and its Mansory body kit definitely helps it stand out in a remarkably subtle way, which is not something we often find ourselves saying regarding the German tuner.
Distinguishing features include the custom side sills, front and rear bumpers, plus the new trunk lid, while the staggered-width 20-inch Mansory wheels add to the imposing look. The DB9 also sits closer to the road by 25 mm (1 inch) compared to the stock model.
According to the Bring a Trailer ad, the convertible soft-top was serviced this summer and a replacement control module was installed, while the rear window was re-attached.

The interior features tan leather upholstery with carbon-style veneers on the center console and door panels. The car also comes with a radar detector and a console-mounted Linn stereo system. By the looks of the driver’s seat, we’d say somebody definitely got their money’s worth during those 20,000 miles.
The DB9’s 5.9-liter V12 engine is rated at 450 HP (456 PS) and 420 lb-ft (570 Nm) of torque, which are sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. Because of chassis stiffening mods, the Volante weighs more than the DB9 Coupe, but it will still get you from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.9 seconds.
Two years after this car was built, Aston Martin increased the power output and torque on the DB9 Volante to 470 HP (477 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm), followed by another power bump in 2013 to 510 HP (517 PS) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm). Moreover, curb weight was reduced by about 100 lbs (45 kg).
