The cameras of a Tesla Model 3 have captured a wild road rage incident involving the driver of a Subaru Outback.
The incident happened in Omaha, Nebraska earlier this week. The Model 3 was driven by 40-year-old owner Ken Woodard at the time. Speaking with the media, Woodard said he had just come out of two weeks of quarantine having tested positive for coronavirus and was on his way home after driving to a testing center to ensure he was negative.
Less than a mile from home, Woodard came across 40-year-old Brian Frey in a Subaru Outback. Woodard told KETV 7 News that Frey was driving several car lengths behind him. The Tesla driver proceeded to change into the lane of the Subaru in order to drive around a slow-moving car. This infuriated Frey.

“That triggered something in him,” Woodard said. “He threw his hands in the air like he was frustrated with me. He forcefully whipped up behind me. He accelerated into my bumper, so that was the first hit. Then, he pulled up next to me and forced me off the road completely, almost into the guardrail going over Center Street.”
The Subaru driver then overtook Woodard in his Tesla and slammed on the brakes, so the Model 3 crashed into the rear of the Outback.
Police soon arrived on the scene and received conflicting stories from the two drivers. According to Captain Wayne Hudson, Frey claimed that it was the Tesla’s driver who tried to force him off the road and rammed into the Subaru from behind. However, the TeslaCam video revealed all and Frey was ticketed for willful reckless driving, a misdemeanor that could result in him lose his license for up to one year.
