The 2021 Lamborghini Huracan STO has surfaced online, just hours before its official unveiling.

This image was first shared online by the H.R. Owen Lamborghini page on Instagram and has since surfaced online elsewhere. The photo was taken from the Lamborghini Unica owner’s app, which has also been responsible for leaks of the Huracan Evo, Huracan EVO RWD, and Sian.

As spy shots and official teaser images have indicated, the Huracan STO is the latest, limited-edition, track-focused variant of the V10-powered mid-engined supercar. It takes inspiration from the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo race car and is quite the eye-catcher.

Found at the front of the Huracan STO is a revised grille, reshaped air intakes, and a prominent aerodynamic element painted orange. The car also features a distinctive hood with large air extractors, just like the race car on which it is based. Elsewhere, we can see that the car has been equipped with multi-spoke gloss black wheels and extended side skirts.

Lamborghini also looks to have flared the rear wheel arches and this image also provides us with a look at the towering rear wing with sharp endplates. A roof scoop is also visible. Spy shots reveal the rear of the Huracan STO will also include a shark fin, a bespoke engine cover, and a new diffuser.

Technical specifications about the car remain unclear. However, we expect it to be slightly lighter than a standard Huracan while also benefiting from some upgrades to the 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10.
