Instead of dropping a press release accompanied by some pics, Akrapovic chose to highlight its new titanium exhaust system for the Audi RS6 Avant with a short clip.

The video demonstrates the enhanced soundtrack provided by the Evolution Line exhaust system, which weighs 11.7 kg (26 lbs) less than the OEM part and increases power and torque figures by 11.6 kW (16 PS / 16 HP) at 6,150 rpm and 17.9 Nm (13 lb-ft) at 6,150 rpm respectively.

As a result, the twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 now puts out 616 PS (607 HP / 453 kW) and 818 Nm (603 lb-ft), up from the standard model’s 600 PS (591 HP / 441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). The engine drives all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Although we have no figures for the Akrapovic-equipped RS6 Avant, the stock model takes 3.6 seconds for the 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph), but Audi Sport offers the option to remove the limiter and raise it to 306 km/h (190 mph).

The 2020 RS6 Avant is available in the U.S. from $109,000, excluding the $1,045 destination charge and dealer fees. Akrapovic did not say how much their new Evolution Line exhaust system costs, so anyone interested in it will have to reach out to them directly.
