With 110-octane racing fuel in the tank, the quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine delivers a jaw-dropping 1,850 PS (1,824 HP / 1361 kW) and 1,850 Nm (1,364 lb-ft) of torque, or 1,600 PS (1,577 HP / 1,177 kW) on 98-octane fuel. The Bolide tips the scales at 1,240 kg (2,733 lbs) dry and has a weight-to-power ratio of 0.67 kg (1.5 lbs) per PS.

The experimental study is capable of a maximum lateral acceleration of 2.8G and takes only 2.17 seconds to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill. The 200, 300, 400 and 500 km/h (124/186/249/311 mph) marks are hit in 4.36, 7.37, 12.08 and 20.16 seconds respectively, according to Bugatti’s simulations, which have also revealed that it can lap the Le Mans in 3:07.1 and the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 5:23.1.

It is still unknown whether the Bolide will enter production as a limited series model, or if it remain just a concept.
