Hennessey Performance has dropped a final teaser of the Venom F5 before it is unveiled in production guise on December 15.
This teaser previews the wheels of the upcoming hypercar that are slightly different compared to the 10-spoke wheels of the Venom F5 show car presented a few years ago. These new wheels also include the company’s new logo on the center caps.
Wheels aside, Hennessey has previously claimed that the Venom F5 will benefit from a host of exterior and aerodynamic modifications over the concept, without however specifying exactly what changes have been made.

Powering the hypercar is a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 that’s built by Hennessey and churns out a remarkable 1,817 hp and 1,193 lb-ft of torque, enough grunt to potentially send the Venom F5 through to a top speed exceeding 311 mph (500 km/h), a record that is still up for grabs following SSC’s failed attempt to hit such speeds in the Tuatara.
It’s not just the engine of the Hennessey Venom GT that’s impressive. Underpinning the car is a carbon fiber chassis that has been developed in-house and has had its torsional rigidity measured at 52,000 newton-meters per degree, surpassing that of the Bugatti Chiron. What’s more, it weighs just 86 kg (190 lbs).
John Hennessey recently revealed that the production-ready Venom F5 was originally scheduled to debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August, but the event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
