If we had well over $300,000 to get a new car, we wouldn’t blow ‘em all on an SUV. Nonetheless, if you want to do just that, there are several to choose from, including Mansory’s tuned Audi RS Q8.
Presented last month, it certainly has the grunt to match its looks, with the twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 pumping out 769 hp and 738 pound-feet (1,000 Nm) of torque.
Thanks to some aftermarket parts such as a high-performance exhaust and tuned ECU, it’s way more powerful than the stock model, which has 591 HP and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm). The extra oomph lets it go from rest to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds, 0.5 seconds quicker than the regular RS Q8, and hit a 198 mph (320 km/h) top speed, up from 190 mph (305 km/h).
Mansory’s modified RS Q8 also features several carbon fiber components on the outside, such as the piece around the grille and the spliter, and boasts fender flares, more aggressive looking side skirts and a set of 24-inch wheels. The super SUV is finished in black and has a few red accents.
Advertised on Mobile, it has an asking price of €288,888, including tax, or $350,122 at current exchange rates – a pretty hefty premium over the stock RS Q8 which starts at €126,235.29 ($152,992) in Germany.
