Mercedes-Benz is getting into the Christmas spirit with a special AMG GT R and G-Class.

Both cars have been adorned with eye-catching wraps designed to mimic the look of an ugly Christmas sweater. Starting with the AMG GT R, it its wrap is perhaps the uglier of the two and combines various Christmas graphics with pink, orange, and white surfaces. It’s certainly very loud and were it driven on the street, would turn lots of heads.

As for the G-Class, its ugly Christmas sweater wrap is finished primarily in a mixture of red, white and green. It has also been adorned with gloss black wheels and has black grilles over its headlights.

Mercedes-Benz is clearly making the most of the festive season and is promising a number of other cars with Christmas-themed wraps before December 25.

In other Mercedes-related news, this is quite an exciting time for the German car manufacturer, who is in the midst of an ambitious electric vehicle offensive and getting ready to launch a whole host of new EVs. One of the most eagerly anticipated is the EQS that will top out the firm’s range of electric sedans. It is expected to be unveiled in early 2021 and will have a range exceeding 435 miles (700 km).

Another electric Mercedes just around the corner is the EQA. Taking the form of a compact crossover, this model is expected to hit the market next year with three powertrain configurations that pump out 201 hp, 268 hp, and 335 hp respectively.
