As impressive as the FK8-generation Honda Civic Type R is, this 2001 Acura Integra Type R is probably even more desirable.
Listed up for sale on Bring A Trailer, it is finished in Phoenix Yellow and has 78,000 miles (~125,000 km) on the clock. It is being auctioned off with factory literature, a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.

Unlike most Integra Type Rs you’ll find in the U.S., this one has been modified with the Japanese-spec front fascia that includes a unique hood, bumper and new headlights. It also has aftermarket side skirts and an aftermarket rear bumper that adds to the sporty and aggressive looks. Elsewhere, the factory 15-inch wheels have been powder-coated gray and fitted with new center caps and red anodized valve stems and are shod in 205/50 Yokohama Advan 032R tires.
The Intregra’s seller has upgraded the suspension with HKS coilovers at all four corners and a Vision lower rear strut bar. The brakes have also been upgraded with Spoon Sports front calipers and pads, stainless steel lines and PowerStop slotted rotors.
Various modifications have also been made to the high-revving, 1.8-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine. These include Spoon Sports camshafts, throttle body, air intake filter, earthing kit, oil pan, and ignition wires. It also has Toda Racing camshaft gears, a Mugen exhaust header and twin-loop muffler, a Catco high-flow catalytic converter and silicone coolant hoses.
