About month ago, we brought you the first spy shots of a very mysteriousLaFerrari. That test mule was spied again a few weeks later, and more recently, it was seen at the Prancing Horse’s Fiorano racetrack in Italy.
A good part of the video shows it standing still and revving its engine. Your guess is as good as ours as to what they were trying to do, but the clip also shows it tackling corners, and just like the original hybrid hypercar, it seems like it can handle the extra weight of the electrified powertrain, and it could be partially powered by electricity, judging by the stickers on the rear quarter panels.

Now, as you have probably guessed, we still don’t know anything concrete about it, other than it uses the body of the LaFerrari Aperta, bar a few changes, such as the missing central aero piece at the front, different side air intakes and modified rear window.
It might be a new electrified hypercar or a new model of some sorts. Of course, there is also the possibility of it being a bespoke creation commissioned by a wealthy enthusiast. Nonetheless, our money would be on an indirect successor of the LaFerrari, which was made between 2013 and 2018 in 710 units, including 500 coupes and 210 roadster – aka the Aperta. So, what do you think it is?
