To our eyes, the facelifted Bentley Bentayga looks better than its predecessor. However, this Bentley SUV rendered by designer Emre Husmen makes even the most recent Bentayga look a little plain.
Dubbed the EXP8 and conceived as a next-generation hyper-SUV, it takes obvious design inspiration from the limited-run Bentley Mulliner Bacalar and looks all the better for it.

Viewed from the front, the Bacalar inspiration is immediately apparent thanks to the circular headlights that are interjected by horizontal daytime running lights. Husmen has also given the Bentley EXP8 a front grille similar to the Bacalar, complete with a complex mesh design and the number ‘8’.
The sides of the concept are quite different to the Bentayga. For example, there are squared wheel arches rather than the round ones of Bentley’s current SUV. Similar design lines flow along the doors and the concept is also sitting on huge wheels.
As much as we like both the front and sides, we think the rear looks even better. In giving the Bentayga its first facelift, Bentley reduced the size of the taillights and made them slimmer. For his dream Bentley SUV, Husmen has made them slimmer again, once again taking cues from the Bacalar. Other key areas of the rear that catch the eye is a lip spoiler on the tailgate and a prominent diffuser.
