General Motors has announced a competitive leasing rate for the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro LT1 that won’t break the bank.
A new Sign and Drive low-mileage lease deal from General Motors is offering 2021 Camaro LT1 Coupe models for as little as $274 per month for 39 months in January. Those who currently lease a 2016 model year or newer non-GM vehicle will also benefit from $0 down, a $0 first month payment, and a $0 security deposit.
GM Authority notes that the deal also includes a mileage charge of $0.25 per mile over 32,500 miles at participating dealerships. Tax, title, license, and dealer fees will also increase the cost.

Interestingly, the 2021 Camaro LT1, which packs a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 pumping out 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque, is actually cheaper to lease than the turbocharged, 275 hp four-cylinder Camaro 1LT. That variant, by the way, is available to lease for $299 per month for 39 months with $989 due at signing.
The above leasing figures for the Camaro LT1 are for models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, rather than the standard six-speed manual. Other key components enjoyed by the LT1 include black Bow Tie badges, 20-inch wheels, Brembo front brakes, and performance suspension.
It’s unclear why GM is offering such a competitive leasing deal for the Camaro LT1 but it could be related to poor Camaro sales last year with 29,775 examples finding new homes in the U.S., a 38.3 per cent drop from 2019.
