Images have surfaced online showcasing the forthcoming Hongqi E111 EV set to be sold exclusively in China.
Like many other electric vehicles to recently launch in China, the E111 EV has a striking design that will ensure it stands out on the road. The front end is perhaps the most interesting thanks to the curvaceous LED daytime running lights sitting where you’d normally expect to find the headlights. The main headlight units are located further down on the bumper.
This being an electric car, there’s also a faux front grille and, like other Hongqi models, a bright red motif running up the hood.

A handful of key features define the interior of Hongqi E111, in particular the large rectangular infotainment display that sits in the center of the dashboard. The EV also appears to have an all-digital instrument cluster, a sporty steering wheel, and a large gear selector.
Images of the vehicle’s second row reveal that it has a flat floor and appears to offer plenty of legroom. There are also two cupholders in the rear center console, as well as various controls to adjust the seats and, presumably, tweak the climate control settings.
Car News China reports that the E111 EV sits on a new electric vehicle platform and features a single electric motor producing 190 hp. Moreover, it will reportedly be good for 450 km (279 miles) of range on the NEDC test cycle.
