Having made an impression to petrolheads and reviewers alike, the C8 Corvette Stingray is now getting ready to enter the digital racing realm.

The American supercar will make its debut in the Forza Horizon 4 video game, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via an update coming January 14 at the request of fans, according to the bowtie brand.

Unveiled one and a half years ago, the C8 Corvette sports a new, mid-engined layout. The 6.2-liter LT2 V8 drives the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and pumps out 495 HP (502 PS / 369 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque with the optional performance exhaust system.

This setup allows it to hit the 60 mph (96 km/h) mark in under 3 seconds from a standstill, before maxing out at 194 mph (312 km/h). With a perfect launch, the quarter-mile sprint is dealt with in just 11.2 seconds, with a 121 mph (195 km/h) exit speed.

For the 2021 model year, the ‘Vette can be ordered in two new colors, Silver Flare Metallic and Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat, with new racing stripes and a fresh interior combo called Sky Cool Grey/Yellow Strike.

Other novelties include the new Driver mode on-screen visualization, track digital tachometer and standard wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Furthermore, the Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension can be ordered separately and is no longer tied to the Z51 Performance Package.

Despite getting more features for 2021, the Corvette’s pricing has remained unchanged, with the Coupe starting at $59,995 and the Convertible at $67,495.
