David Brown Automotive (DBA) has completed the build of yet another Speedback GT, which will be shipped to its owner in Germany.
The pictured Speedback GT features a black mesh satin grille, with auxiliary LED lighting and shiny metal accents, and is finished in Blue Moon. The bespoke GT sits on a set of 19-inch polished stainless steel wire wheels for summer use, wrapped in David Brown-branded tires made by Avon, and is also accompanied by a Union Flag-inspired set of rims for winter driving.

Wrapped in ‘Tabak’ tan leather and equipped with hand-crafted ‘Elm Burr’ satin lacquered wood veneers, the interior is also custom and features a drinks set that can hold the owner’s preferred beverage of gin and tonic, dubbed as “a quintessentially British signature of the car”, including two crystal highball glasses. There is also a bespoke woolen picnic blanket on deck, stored under the picnic seat that extends out of the boot.
Taking over 8,000 hours to be hand-built by DBA’s artisans and technicians in Great Britain, the Speedback GT is based on the discontinued Jaguar XK and sports a body that reminds of the classic Aston Martin DB5 and a tweaked interior with an updated dashboard panel and center console.
Powering it is Jag’s 5.0 twin-scroll supercharged V8 that pumps out 510 HP at 6,000-6,500 rpm and 461 pound-feet (625 Nm) of torque between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm, and is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission from ZF. DBA claims a 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) acceleration of 4.6 seconds (0-100 km/h: 4.8s) and a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).
