If you crash into a fire hydrant on the side of the road, strange things can happen, as this video reveals.

Details surrounding this incident are thin on the ground, but we know it happened recently somewhere in the U.S. and almost certainly left onlookers stunned. They essentially witnessed a Toyota Camry using a bidet.

The video shows that the person driving the Toyota smashed head-on into a tree and in the process, appears to have either knocked out a fire hydrant or a water main next to the tree.

The force of the crash burst the hydrant, sending water into the air with such pressure that it lifted up the rear of the Camry, leaving it in a very precarious position and making for a rather hilarious scene.

Due to the way that the Toyota is resting, it may seem as though the rear-end is resting on some kind of solid object. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case and it seems to be nothing but the pressure of the water that is holding the car up.

Had the Camry simply hit the tree and nothing else, it may have been relatively easy to repair, although its front end is really bent. However, there’s no way of knowing what that fire hydrant might have done to it – or how it could have come down without sustaining some, probably serious, damage.
