Andreas Preuninger, the head of Porsche’s GT division, is the man responsible for the carmaker’s finest models and the latest and greatest was just released in the form of the 2022 911 GT3.
While Porsche has followed the same recipe as with previous iterations of the GT3, the latest model is shaping up to be even more impressive and in this photos shared online by Preuninger, it also looks captivating.
Immediately making this GT3 stand out is the paintjob. It may look like any old shade of silver but look a little closer and you will notice that it has a hint of blue to it. The color is dubbed Azzuro Thetys Metallic and is actually a Lamborghini color that is available through Porsche’s Paint-To-Sample program.

Ordering a custom color through the Paint-To-Sample program isn’t cheap, but it is an excellent way for Porsche customers to ensure their vehicle stands out from the others.
The new 911 GT3 is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six that produces 502 hp and 346 lb-ft (469 Nm) of torque and revs to 9,000 rpm. This engine is coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission as standard, with a six-speed manual offered as an option. Preuninger is keen to point out that this car has the manual gearbox and included a #savethemanuals hashtag in his Instagram post.
