Despite last year’s report that the Giulietta would be phased off before the end of 2020, the compact hatchback is alive and well, and recently Alfa Romeo introduced a special edition in Mexico.
The model is named the Giulietta 110 Edizione 2021 and is powered by a turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder that develops 237 horsepower and 251 pound-feet (340 Nm) of torque. It is mated to a six-speed double-clutch automatic transmission driving the front wheels and enables a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) of 6.0 seconds and a 152 mph (244 km/h) top speed.

Finished in Red Competizione Tricapa or Opaque Gray, the new edition of the Giulietta gets bi-xenon headlamps with carbon fiber look, front fog lamps with black bezels, LED taillights, glossy black accents, rear spoiler in exposed carbon fiber and special finish for the door handles. Furthermore, it has a red stripe under the lower front grille and at the back, as well as Brembo brakes with red calipers, and rides on black 18-inch aluminum wheels .
Inside, it features exclusive front seats with extra bolstering compared to the Veloce, wrapped in Alcantara with red stitching. The ‘Alfa Romeo’ logo is embroidered into the integrated headrests and is joined by a metal insert. Standard equipment also includes a 7-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reversing camera and an Alpine premium audio.
The Giulietta 110 Edizione 2021 is already on sale with a starting price of 759,900 pesos, equal to $37,833 at today’s exchange rates.
