NASCAR’s 400-mile race at Kansas Speedway is set to get a new moniker. And that name will be chosen by fans.
Currently titled the “Busch Name This Race 400,” the company has paid to be the race’s title sponsor and is asking fans to come up with something to call it.
Americans aged 21 and over can enter their suggestion in exchange for a $1 donation to Farm Rescue. Among other good work, the non-profit organization provides support to farmers and ranchers stricken by unexpected major injuries, illnesses, and natural disasters.
“We saw the race entitlement as a truly unique opportunity to give NASCAR fans unparalleled access to the sport while supporting people and communities that can use a helping hand,” said Daniel Blake, VP of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch. “Giving fans creative control over an official race name while supporting the farming community that’s so important to Busch is a perfect example of how we approach our role as the Official Beer of NASCAR.”
Busch says it will match every $1 donation with a $1 donation of its own. And that could add up because there’s no limit on how many times you can submit a donation or a title.

Entries that meet Busch’s terms and conditions will be posted to social media where fans will make the final decision on which title wins between March 8 and 9.
The race will then run on May 2 and NASCAR’s very serious broadcast team of Clint Bowyer, Jeff Gordon, and Mike Joy will have to say whatever the name is. It will also be etched into the grass at Kansas Speedway and will appear on all official merchandise.
We look forward to watching the 2021 Racy McRaceface 400 at Kansas Speedway along with the rest of you this spring.
