Cupra is now accepting orders for the Formentor e-Hybrid in the United Kingdom, where the electrified SUV coupe is offered in two trim levels.
Pricing for the VZ1 grade, which is equipped as standard with LED headlights, taillights with dynamic turn signals, heated and electrically adjustable folding mirrors, 19-inch alloy wheels, and sporty bumpers, starts at £38,625 ($53,034).
The interior boasts a 12-inch infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging pad, configurable digital cockpit, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting and four USB-C ports. The front sports seats with copper stitching, black headlining, and the company’s trademark copper detailing complete the offering.

The VZ2 variant, which starts at £40,260 ($55,279), adds heated front seats, black Nappa leather upholstery stitched with copper string, ‘Cupra’ embroidering, heated sports steering wheel with start/stop button, and drive mode selector.
For the VZ1, customers can order the Safety and Driving Pack, which adds blind spot monitoring, high beam assist, exit assist and dynamic road sign display, while the VZ package brings emergency assist and lane change assist. Other options include the panoramic sunroof, towbar, metallic and matte paint colors, and petrol blue Nappa leather (VZ2 only).
The Formentor e-Hybrid is powered by a 150 PS (148 HP / 110 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine mated to a DSG transmission, and a 116 PS (114 HP / 85 kW) electric motor with a 13 kWh battery pack. The plug-in hybrid powertrain produces a combined 245 PS (242 HP / 180 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The battery can be fully charged at 3.6 kW in 3 hours and 33 minutes, giving the VZ2 a 51-km (32-mile) electric range and the VZ1 a 55-km (34-mile) autonomy.
