The car is being auctioned off by the International Motor Racing Research Center non-profit. The organization collects, shares and preserves the history of motorsports and has a huge collection of documents, including more than 4,000 books and 250 different motorsports magazines and newspapers.

The Corvette Stingray Convertible in question is painted in Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat and comes with the available full-length Dual Racing Stripe Package finished in Carbon Flash Metallic. In addition, it has black wheels and includes the available Z51 package with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S ZP tires, revised suspension tuning, a rear spoiler, enlarged brakes, shorter final-drive ratio, an electronic limited-slip differential and a performance exhaust that lifts power from 490 to 495 hp and torque from 465 to 470 lb-ft (637 Nm).
Elsewhere, the car has been equipped with the 2LT trim package that includes blind-spot monitoring, a Heads-Up display, Performance Data Recorder, rear-cross traffic alert, curb-view parking cameras, and a 14-speaker Bose audio system. The ‘Vette is also rocking Jet Black Nappa leather.
The winner of the raffle won’t just win the Corvette but will also receive two 2022 memberships to the Jack Daniels Club at Watkins Glen International and a two-day performance driving school at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.
