A major winter storm is making its way across America and it has left snowy and icy conditions in its wake.
That brings us to a security camera video which caught a rather odd sight in Nashville, Tennessee.
As you can see, everything starts off normally as someone backs a Ford F-150 out of their driveway. However, things quickly take a turn after the truck pulls onto the steep and icy street.

After the driver turns the wheel, the truck slowly slides down the hill as the rear end swings around. The truck continues sliding perpendicular to the street and eventually goes out of view.
CNN talked to the driver who said he was leaving to pick up his daughter from a sleepover. However, he didn’t realize the road was a sheet of ice until it was too late.
Once the truck started sliding, he just “played it cool” and let the chips fall where they may. However, this was a bit more precarious than it appears in the video as there was a car parked at the bottom of the hill. Thankfully, the truck only slid approximately 450 feet (137 meters) and came to a stop before hitting the vehicle.
After picking up his daughter, the driver decided not to take chances going back up the hill. Instead, he parked at the bottom and walked his way back home.
