The Ford GT is the most popular car on Reddit while Ferrari is the most popular automaker, a new study has found.
Auto Finesse recently analyzed the most upvoted, commented, and awarded posts on the r/Autos, r/CarPorn, and r/cars subreddits with over 4 million combined members to see which vehicles and car brands are the most popular.
In terms of carmakers, Ferrari took the top spot with a collective 757,795 upvotes, putting it ahead of Ford with 689,592 upvotes. Ferrari also garnered 158 awards and 23,067 comments and featured in over 7 per cent of total posts. In third place was Porsche with 604,086 upvotes while Lamborghini was named the fourth-most popular brand with 577,187. Rounding out the top five was Toyota with 464,536 upvotes, followed up by Nissan (429,336), BMW (424,617), Aston Martin (355,271), McLaren (345,173), and Mercedes (294,500).

Meanwhile, the most popular model on Reddit was the Ford GT by a considerable margin, attracting 310,838 upvotes, considerably more than the 177,074 of the second most popular car, the Porsche 911. Also in the top five were the Toyota Supra with 175,052 upvotes, the Ferrari F40 with 170,997, and the Ford Mustang with 115,309.
The Lamborghini Countach (102,230 upvotes), Ferrari LaFerrari (85,477), Lamborghini Aventador (73,759), Ford Bronco (69,641), and Lamborghini Miura (69,025) completed the top 10. Other popular models that didn’t quite make the top 10 included the Lamborghini Diablo, Toyota Celica, Ford GT40, Porsche 356, Lamborghini Centenario, Toyota GT86, and Toyota Yaris.
