The crossover coupe niche was started in 2007 by BMW, when they introduced the original X6. Now, almost 14 years later, the X6 is in its third generation and doing quite well for itself, even with the competition from the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and Audi Q8.
Its range is topped by the X6 M Competition, which is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 that delivers 625 PS (616 HP / 460 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). That’s plenty of poke, if you ask us, yet G-Power has launched a tuning package that raises the output of the engine considerably.

In return for €2,495 ($3,010) in Germany, which is the cost of the performance software, the tuner will give your X6 M Competition 700 PS (690 HP / 515 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. That represents an 75 PS (74 HP / 55 kW) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) lift over the stock engine.
Stage 2 adds a different performance software, priced at €3,494.99 ($4,217), along with sports downpipes and stainless steel exhaust system with valve control (€5,950 / $7,179), for an output of 750 PS (739 HP / 552 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft).
Finally, the full 800 PS (789 HP / 588 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) is achieved with a new performance software (€4,594.99 / $5,544), turbocharger upgrade (€5,950 / $7,179), downpipes and exhaust system.
A transmission software remap, increased V-max (to 300 km/h / 186 mph), lower ground clearance, exhaust sound optimization and new Hurricane-RR forged wheels measuring 11×23 inches in size that are wrapped in 315/25 high-performance tires, are also available as options for the X6 M Competition by G-Power.
