Hyundai is on a roll, producing vehicles that can rival the best in the market, and while it’s safe to say that it won’t launch anything similar to the concept featured in these renderings, it still makes for an interesting design exercise.

This Hyundai concept comes courtesy of Sachin Sing Tensing who created it for an internship project. It has been designed as a collaboration with K-pop group Blackpink and aims to combine influences from the country’s automotive scene with its thriving music industry.

With this in mind, the vehicle, dubbed the Hyundai Blink, features a “soft” design and has a similar footprint to a Fiat 500. The front of the Blink has been inspired by Hyundai’s all-electric 45 EV Concept, with thin LED headlights and a massive black front grille that makes it look as though the car is always smiling. The wheelbase is very short, as are the front and rear overhangs, giving it a unique presence on the road. In addition, Tensing has designed the roof to sit quite low, further adding to the appealing proportions.

One unique aspect of the design are the doors that feature large glass panels allowing you to see inside the cabin. The doors also open up backwards, allowing for easier ingress and egress. A handful of pink touches across the exterior, including on the front grille, rear bumper, rear spoiler, and tires, complete the look.
