A couple of weeks after Justin Bieber’s bespoke Rolls-Royce Wraith from West Coast Customers was first spotted, a video detailing the creation of the one-off has been released.
West Coast Customs may be best known for its role in Pimp My Ride in the early 2000s and, to this day, it continues to some pretty wild vehicles. The Wraith it built for Bieber is one of its most ambitious projects to date.
The boss of West Coast Customs reveals that the car is inspired by the all-electric Rolls-Royce 103EX concept unveiled in 2016. In fact, Bieber was so enamored with its design that he wanted to buy it. Unsurprisingly, the British automaker wasn’t willing to sell their one-off design concept, so West Coast Customs set about building a car inspired by the 103EX for the famous singer.

In creating the one-off, West Coast Customs shortened the Wraith by 8 inches and widened it by 12 inches. Once the design was complete, they completed a 3D scan of the Rolls-Royce and from there was able to create the bespoke body panels. It was then the job of the company’s bodywork experts to perfect the shape of the vehicle before it rolled into the paint booth and was finished in a combination of gloss silver and matte grey.
Perhaps the most notable aspect of the vehicle’s design are the wheel covers that make it look as though the car is floating. West Coast Customs also spent a considerable amount of time customizing the interior and installing a stereo system from JL Audio that’s far superior to the car’s standard audio setup.
