Following the reveal of the facelifted MINI Hatch, the carmaker is now launching the five-door variant which adopts the same styling revisions and tech upgrades.
The first examples of the facelifted MINI 5-Door will arrive in the European market this March, combining the brand’s latest design accents with the increased practicality of its five-door bodystyle.
The 2021 Mini 5-Door comes with a 160mm longer body, with 72mm added to the wheelbase for more comfort and space for passengers and their luggage. MINI claims that passengers at the rear benefit from “noticeably more interior width, legroom, and headroom. In addition, the rear bench, which seats three passengers, can fold and split 60:40, increasing the luggage space from 278 liters to up to 941 liters.

The front end of the facelifted MINI 5-Door features the newly-designed front grille with a bigger hexagonal surround, a new bumper with vertical air inlets on the sides, a new rear bumper with the fog light now integrated as a narrow LED unit into the apron, and five new alloy wheel options to choose from.
In addition, MINI is now offering the Multitone Roof option, which features a color gradient from San Marino Blue through Pearly Aqua to Jet Black, thanks to a new painting technique. The feature is unique in its class and further adds to the long list of MINI’s personalization options. The front LED headlights are now standard, as are the rear lights with the Union Jack lighting signature, which here is applied in a darker tone.
The interior has also been updated, with the dashboard now featuring new flush center vents and a redesigned central instrument cluster that houses the standard 8.8-inch infotainment system. The digital instrument cluster is optional, but the leather-wrapped sports steering wheel with the new button panels is standard.
Sales of the facelifted MINI 5-Door model are launching this March across Europe.
