Having introduced a new 2.0-liter petrol engine for the Tarraco last month, Seat has now launched it in the United Kingdom.
Available in the FR, FR Sport, Xcellence and XCellence Lux trim levels, it delivers 245 PS (242 HP / 180 kW) and 370 (273 lb-ft) of torque and comes coupled to a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and AWD.
The new engine allows the mid-size SUV to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 228 km/h (142 mph). This makes it approximately 1 second quicker to 62 mph than the 245 PS (242 HP / 180 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) Tarraco e-Hybrid.
