The C8 Corvette was one of the most important cars Chevrolet has released in quite some time. And along with the incredible performance for the money, it also came with some of the more unique colors to be offered on a Corvette. However, a new report suggests a few of them could be going away.
The report, which comes from Corvette Blogger, says that three of the Corvette’s paint options, Sebring Orange, Shadow Grey and Zeus Bronze, will be discontinued in favor of some new, not yet released, colors.

Sebring Orange came 4th out of the 12 colors offered in terms of sales, accounting for 1,377, or 6.8%, of C8’s sold for the 2020 model year. This color was one of the most striking options you could get for your Corvette, and while it wasn’t the launch color, it sure seemed like it based on how much it appeared in the media. If you still want your ‘Vette in Sebring Orange, you’ll have to order it by April 29th, and the last production week will reportedly be the one of June 26th.

Shadow Gray was 9th out of 12 and it sold 1,111 units (5.45%) for the 2020 model year. While it was one of the more subdued colors offered on the C8, it was a nice option if you wanted something subtle, but also something a bit different from your average gray or silver. If you want Shadow Gray on your C8, the last day it can be ordered by is May 27th, and its last week of production begins on July 19th.
Finally we have Zeus Bronze, which came in 12th out of 12 for sales, with just 548 cars (2.69%) sold for the 2020 model year despite being one of the C8’s most unique colors. If you still want your car in Zeus Bronze, you’ll have to make your order before April 29th, and it will enter its last week of production on June 14th.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet what the new colors will be, but we hope they live up to the ones they’re replacing. What colors would you like to see? Let us know in the comments.
