It has been a few years since Ford Mustang drivers morphed into an internet meme and yet again, the curse of the Mustang driver has struck, albeit this time not in the U.S.

The first video below comes courtesy of a dashcam in Russia and shows the driver of a black Mustang taking a left turn with more speed than the muscle car could handle, causing the rear wheels to lose traction and the car to slide.

The driver was unable to control the slide and instead overcorrected, sensing the Mustang to the right. The car can then be seen hitting a curb and slipping onto its side, coming to a rest at what appears to be a bus stop. The car wasn’t traveling at high speeds, so we hope the driver, as well as any passengers, got out unharmed.

An invasive species called the “Mustang driver” has been discovered in Russia from r/IdiotsInCars

Prompted by seeing a Ford Mustang crash in Russia, we headed to YouTube and found another clip of a Mustang crash in Eastern Europe, this time in Ukraine. This video was filmed from the dashcam of a car on December 29, 2019 and shows a yellow Mustang GT Convertible overtaking the cammer on a rather gloomy and cold day.

While the driver managed to sneak past the cammer without too much issue, they drifted onto a patch of dirty snow on the side of the road and quickly lost control of the car, spearing off the road and down an embankment before coming to a halt.
