It’s well-known that SEMA builds are unique. The sometimes six-figure projects are all-out efforts by their builders, and in the case of this 2011 Chevy Camaro, that definitely holds true.
The car is listed for sale on eBay by Gateway Classic Cars, and it has an asking price of $70,000 or best offer. It went under the knife in 2011 to receive its Trans Am appearance, getting its “Banshee” moniker from the Pontiac concept sharing the same name. The car was built by Dave Hall and the rest of the Restore a Muscle Car team for SEMA as an homage to the classic Firebird Trans Am.

The custom bodywork includes new bumpers, hood, side skirts, and fenders. Other features of the exterior include custom wheels, a custom paintjob, and a functional shaker hood. The interior remains largely the same as the stock Camaro, with the only changes being some slightly new trim and upholstery, auxiliary gauges, and Banshee branding.

It’s also worth noting that this car’s changes were not purely aesthetic. While the Banshee does retain its donor car’s 6.2-liter V8 engine, its output has been boosted from 426 hp (432 PS / 318 kW) to 800 hp (811 PS / 597 kW) thanks to a supercharger, a Kooks exhaust system, custom heads, a boost cam, new lifters, and an upgraded fuel system.
The build looks to be quite well-crafted, and it’s got the power to back it up. So if you’re in the market for a SEMA car, are a big Pontiac fan, and aren’t looking to spend six figures, this 2011 Banshee might just be the right car for you.
