Coinciding with the first local drive reviews, Nissan has announced the official pricing of the 2021 Navara Down Under, which is offered in three body styles and four trim levels.
Those looking to buy the ute can choose between single, dual and king cab configurations, and four grades named SL, ST, ST-X and Pro-4X.
Pricing for the entry-level SL starts at AU$33,890 (US$26,337), while the two mid-range specs will set buyers back AU$50,990 (US$39,626) and AU$57,290 (US$44,522) respectively. The top-of-the-line Pro-AX, with its enhanced features, comfort, styling and capability, can be ordered from AU$61,290 (US$47,630).

All versions of the 2021 Navara get a new 7-inch instrument cluster display and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upgraded seats with leather accents are available from the ST-X grade, whereas the digital radio becomes standard from the ST. Two new paint finishes have been added, with the Forged Copper2 being available for the dual and king cab configurations, and the Stealth Grey being limited to the Pro-4X.
Powering the new Navara is a 2.3-liter common-rail four-cylinder diesel engine. It is available in single- and twin-turbo guise, with the former producing 120 kW (163 PS / 161 HP) and 403 Nm (297 lb-ft) of torque, and the latter developing 140 kW (190 PS / 188 HP) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). The mill is hooked up to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission, with two-wheel drive in the single cab chassis SL and four-wheel drive in the rest of the lineup. The Navara has a towing capacity of 750 kg (1,653 lbs) and 3.5 tons (7,716 lbs) un-braked and braked respectively.
