MINI introduced the Countryman Boardwalk Edition last December and now the company has announced the crossover is headed stateside.
Based on the Countryman Cooper S, the Boardwalk Edition features a Deep Laguna Metallic exterior which is contrasted by a black roof and matching mirror caps.
Other highlights include Piano Black exterior trim, special side scuttles and 18-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. Buyers will also find LED lighting units, auto-dimming mirrors and a Comfort Access keyless entry system.

Moving into the cabin, the crossover has been outfitted with “cross punch” black leather seats as well as Boardwalk badging on the dashboard and door sill plates. The special edition also comes standard with the Touchscreen Navigation Package.
Under the hood, there’s a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 192 hp (143 kW / 195 PS) and 206 lb-ft (279 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an automatic transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in as little as 7.1 seconds.
The 2022 MINI Countryman Boardwalk Edition will arrive at U.S. dealerships next month and pricing will begin at $38,365 for the front-wheel drive variant and $40,365 for the all-wheel drive model – excluding a destination and handling fee of $850.
