The Nissan 400Z floodgates have opened as pictures and video of the production model have surfaced on social media.
Seemingly taken during transport, the collection reveals what the highly anticipated sports car will look like.
As you can see, the coupe closely echoes the Z Proto concept as it features a retro-inspired front fascia with a rectangular intake. The latter is flanked by stylish headlights, which now have amber turn signals.

Continuing down the sides, we can see sleek lines that carryover from the Z Proto. That being said, the production model has slightly revised door handles and red reflectors above the rear wheels. It’s also worth mentioning two different cars are shown as one has a gloss black roof, while the other is painted silver.
The concept-like styling is visible out back as there’s a gloss black rear bumper and a sporty dual exhaust system. The model also has retro-inspired taillights and a rear spoiler that, unfortunately, looks like an afterthought.
The videos also provide a glimpse inside the cabin, where we can see a digital instrument cluster and a modern infotainment system. Other highlights include three gauge pods, a familiar steering wheel and a slightly different center console with a shifter for an automatic transmission.
The Nissan 400Z is expected to debut later this year with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine borrowed from the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400. In the luxury coupe, it produces 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque. It will likely be paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission, but a six-speed manual should also be available.
