Ford is expected to begin production of two-door and four-door Bronco models on March 29 at its Michigan Assembly plant.
A user on the Bronco6g forums claims that for the next two weeks, Ford will begin the ‘Pre Mass Production’ phase that will involve Bronco models being built during the 2nd shift. The vehicles being manufactured over this two-week period will likely be press vehicles and dealer demos. Ford is then expected to idle the facility for two weeks in order to get ready for ‘Phase 1 Mass Production,’ scheduled to commence on March 29th.

Prior to vehicles reaching the hands of customers, Ford is expected to conduct internal inspections on the vehicles to ensure everything is up to the appropriate standard. Those with orders should start receiving their vehicles in the summer.
Ford had originally intended on starting deliveries in the spring but in December 2020, confirmed that it would delay the Bronco due to coronavirus-related issues with certain suppliers. As such, it delayed the opening of order books until mid-January as opposed to December 7 as previously planned. Interestingly, customer deliveries of the smaller Bronco Sport started last year as it is manufactured in Mexico.
Prices for the 2021 Ford Bronco start at a very reasonable $28,500 but we suspect most buyers will spend far more than that. In fact, the Wildtrak has proven to be one of the most popular variants and starts at $46,980 with its 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.
